Note from the Faculty Advisor Prof. Mohan Venkatachalam

Dear all,

It gives me great pleasure to bring to you the inaugural issue of Duke Business Journal, a student-led, original content publication that aspires to benefit all members of the Fuqua community. The journal would not have come to fruition without the hard work and vision of a team of Global Executive MBA 2019 students, Vinod D’Souza, Nick Panos and the members of the editorial board.

I believe this publication can be instrumental in leveraging the collective knowledge and wisdom of our diverse community. Our community is made up of faculty, students and alumni from around the world who thrive in an environment with diverse points of view. The Duke Business Journal is a fantastic medium for exchange of ideas and offers a great opportunity to bring together strengths to inform a leadership style that inspires the business world to be a force for good.

I am excited to endorse Duke Business Journal and encourage meaningful contributions from across the Duke community. I believe this periodical will help Team Fuqua highlight individual strengths as well as move teams forward toward a common goal. I will continue to work with the members of the Editorial board to create a succession plan for this new venture that will involve students across all programs at Fuqua.
